Clinical Program

Maui Recovery Center Clinical Team has experience with a variety of therapies to ensure that patients receive truly customized care.  We use evidenced-based treatment that incorporate effective practices on all our patients. We understand what a complex disease addiction is and take pride in having a variety of comprehensive and unique programs for our patients to participate in during their recovery process. We offer comprehensive outpatient recovery services to individuals and their families who are struggling with chemical dependency, substance abuse, addiction, Trauma and Codependency. Our long-term approach, along with family participation, is unique and proven to breakthrough the barriers of individuals struggling with addition, addresses the core underlying roots of shame, guilt, anger, low self worth and childhood dysfunction, while healing the family system as a whole.

Upon admission to our program, a clinician completes a thorough history to determine the best approach to your treatment program. Treatment planning is a mutual endeavor in which your input and that of your circle of support play a crucial role. We view each client as unique and aim to help you not only establish but also achieve goals that best prepare you for long-term recovery from addiction. The first step in this process is to assess your needs. Each component of our program addresses the mind, body, and spirit. We strive to incorporate Hawaiian rituals into conventional practices such as the 12-Step tradition. A Hawaiian Kahuna (caretaker) leads clients through a healing journey of ho’oponopono, an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness.
