Clinical Program

Our Emotional Healing Program is core of all of our work, and is designed to help you bring your life back to wholeness, worth, and love. Often life events, relationships, trauma, distorted or compulsive behaviors in yourself or those you love, depression, anxiety, codependency or just the stresses of daily living can keep you from the peace and balance you desire. This Program brings you back to the center.

Our program has at its foundation experiential group process supplemented by education and action for change. The program focus on the importance of knowing yourself, how you have become blocked from being all you can be, when and how you abandoned yourself long ago, how you may be avoiding looking at yourself and how the sum of your past experiences may be affecting you today.

The majority of the program is spent reconnecting with yourself. This process may include identifying and expressing feelings, improving self-worth, identifying patterns of self-sabotage, identifying and working through blocks to intimacy in relationships with others and yourself, and celebrating small growth along the way. The ultimate purpose is to reestablish congruence and connection with your feelings, values and actions. The program gives you the opportunity to make sure the person you intend to be is the person you are. Feeling, thinking and action become more balanced and you get to know the True Self and be Ok with who you are. Before leaving Maui Recovery, you will have not only a new sense of worth, being and Self, you will leave with an action plan with practical next steps to further grow and develop balance, congruence and self care into your everyday life. These tools are invaluable and will help you live centered, and the transformation will been seen and felt by everyone in your life.

The Experiential Healing program is designed for targeting, addressing the underlying core root issues that have been sabotaging your life, whether consciously or unconsciously. This inner work is not always pleasant since we are addressing buried and repressed pain, grief, anger or shame that has yet to ever been dug up, traced, faced and erased. This is life changing work that truly free’s people from sabotaging patterns, addictions, processed addiction and compulsive behaviors, and brings them back to self-worth, new belief systems and new ways of showing up for themselves and others. Research demonstrating the effectiveness of this work is available. Our registration process includes a screening by our staff to make sure our program is safe and appropriate for your needs. Maui Recovery’s unique retreat-type community setting provides a safe environment for self-discovery, inner work, practicing new behaviors, setting boundaries, avoiding distractions, and being nurtured with comfortable surroundings and healthy nutritious meals.
