1.) What is your role at Maui Recovery?

I am a therapist.

2.) What does that look like day to day?

I specialize in working with adults and families struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, personal growth challenges, and many other issues. I offer Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, Collaborative therapy ,as well as other modalities including grounding techniques, and mindfulness practices.

3.) What is your educational and professional background?

I have an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. 

4.) Why do you love working at Maui Recovery?

I love working with a team of professionals dedicated to truly serving the needs of our clients. At MR, our clients health and wellness is our top priority and I feel proud to be part of a team that has that as their focus. As a therapist at MR, I am given the opportunity to truly be of service and support clients in a loving and compassionate manner. I love that MR offers me a place to make a significant difference in the mental health of our clients.

5.) What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?

I am very passionate about supporting clients in seeing their greatness, feeling better and more hopeful about themselves, their life, and their future. I am passionate about being able to share all of the tools, steps, healing practices, modalities and caring that I have both learned and utilized in my own healing and recovery journey.

Personally. I am passionate about living on Maui and appreciating its beauty, exploring spirituality, continued learning. When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying the island with friends and family ( which includes dogs), traveling, doing Pilates, or reading a great book.
