Nobody wants to have a negative experience or association with sex. Therefore, it’s important to address these issues when they present themselves.
Symptoms
Obsession
If you’re too shy to talk about it, you’re not alone. It’s hard enough to admit an addiction in your head – forget saying it out loud! But you don’t have to be a sex addict to have at least one sex issue.
Compulsion
Maybe you watch pornography, interact with prostitutes, or engage in risky relationships. Perhaps you withhold sex from your partner, carry past sexual traumas, or struggle with your sexual identity. These are all “symptoms” of distressing experiences.
Solution
Addressing the issues is our top priority at Maui Recovery. We are not here to judge or make others feel uncomfortable. Those with sex addictions or traumas may feel like their unsolvable or their issues will never be fixed and can have a difficult time addressing issues. We offer a safe space for clients to express and work out those traumas
Participating in Risky Sexual Activities or Watching Pornography
